- · Cost of accommodations: $1770 (7 nights in hotels made up about 3/4 of this)
- · Bugs slaughtered on the car windshield: uncountable numbers
- · Bear attacks: 0
The road trip was amazing; we visited some of the most
beautiful places in America, from the badlands to the endless green fields of
the corn belt. We saw glaciers,
geysers, deep canyons, and tall granite mountains with amazing vistas. We spent 50 days and nights together, almost
completely uninterrupted, and we are still married.
If you have the chance to vacation in the National Parks, do
it. They were the best part of our
trip, original and beautiful.
